2026-10-20 Release Notes#
Added Windows 11 26H2 to the scanner's supported targets#
Scanner vuls v0.42.0 adds support for Windows 11 26H2, which became generally available on September 29, 2026. This is not a bug fix but the addition of support for a new OS version.
Scanners earlier than v0.42.0 detect Windows 11 26H2 servers as 25H2 and cannot retrieve the application status of updates (KBs). If you scan Windows 11 26H2 servers, please update your scanner to v0.42.0.
In addition, the update information for Windows 10/11 and Windows Server 2012 to 2025 has been updated through the October 2026 monthly updates.
Scanner update required
This release includes feature improvements that require a scanner update. If your scanner version is outdated, some features may not work correctly, so please update your scanner regularly.
